For obvious reasons, “ordinary” mass-produced cars and their enthusiasts are not featured very much on Where To Sell. However, this ordinary Lexus LS400 turned out to be rather special – it was the first Lexus luxury saloon to be brought into the UK (in 1989) and twenty years’ later it was still almost immaculate.
Unsurprisingly, there was a specialist buyer very keen to acquire it. As always, the value of “provenance” attracts a different audience and may be far from obvious to us ordinary mortals.
