Until recently we hadn’t realised just how extensive the Stanley Gibbons Group PLC has become.
Apparently it owns The Fine Art Auction Group which in turn owns Dreweatts (mainly Newbury), Bloomsbury Auctions (mainly Mayfair), Fraser’s Autographs, Benham, Apex, and Murray Payne – and Mallett.
And Dreweatts/Mallett are holding a major auction on 12th and 13th January next, at Donnington Priory. On the Tuesday they are featuring Paintings, Prints, Ceramics and Clocks, and on the Wednesday – Furniture, Rugs, Works of Art and more Clocks.
