Specific Advice

Our free General Enquiry service provides lists of people who have expressed interest in particular categories of personal assets; often the lists are long, and it can be time-consuming – and challenging – to decide whom to consult.

Where To Sell also offers a specialist service where a panel of experts will suggest the best buyer or intermediary for you to contact.

The panel is chaired by John Bly* and each member has specialised and current knowledge of the market in one or more of our Specific Advice categories.

Currently these include

    • Books
    • Clocks and Watches
    • Furniture
    • Jewellery
    • Motor Cars
    • Paintings
    • Porcelain
    • Silver
    • Statuary

*John Bly   is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, former chairman of the British Antique Dealers’ Association (BADA), and leading light of the BBC Antiques Roadshow.
