“AuntSallyBTeam” asked “been disappointed with eBay . . . how do I find the best place to sell particular items?”

“TeamatTheWelshCorner” reported “I found Where To Sell helpful when I moved house to a new area and wanted to dispose of surplus brown furniture, silver, old maps etc. It’s free and gives you potential buyers listed by distance and suitability.”Mumsnet groups discuss Where To Sell as an option for selling antiques and heirlooms.

So although Mumsnet members are surely above average in their experience and use of it, eBay is not without its critics. If you read the full Mumsnet chat, or search eBay comments generally, it looks as though experience and expertise tend to produce the best results.

We admire Mumsnet and eBay, but it does appear that there are many people who would like a simple way to sell their kit. Finding a keen and local buyer can be quite easy. Where To Sell is the way to go.
